Care & Use

How do I care for my canine endeavour gear?

Biothane cleans easily with soap and warm water or a small amount of rubbing alcohol. In rare cases, the biothane colour may transfer to hair, skin, or fabric. If colour transfer happens, wash with soap and warm water.

How do I use my canine endeavour collar?

All of our canine endeavour collars are designed to use the O ring as the lead attachment point. Attach the leash to the bottom half of the O ring, as seen in the photos below. If your collar is twisting, there is a very high chance that the leash has not been attached to the correct spot of the O ring.

How do I use The canine endeavour Headcollar?

To ensure the health and safety of your dog, it is important to exercise caution while using and learning to use The Headcollar. The Headcollar should be used as a tool to assist with loose leash walking and not to handle an aggressive dog. Please be aware that The Headcollar is attached to the dog’s head and therefore there is the risk of a neck or other injury if not properly used. We recommend completing your own research on how to use a headcollar as a proper training tool. As with any training tool, a proper introduction to The Headcollar should be done and we recommend researching how to do so in advance of using one.

The Headcollar should fit snug around the back of the dog’s head, just below the ears. The leash attachment point should be located at the base of the dog’s jaw. The nose piece should fit snug but a dog must be able to fully open their mouth to pant, bark, and drink water at all times. The photos below show how the The Headcollar should be worn.

*Use of canine endeavour’s collars, leashes, and custom gear is to the discretion and responsibility of the owner (customer). The owner (customer) is responsible for regularly examining and sizing all canine endeavour custom gear.
