Our Story

We adopted our dog, Milo, in 2020. We believe that Milo is a Belgian Malinois X, for those who are unfamiliar with the Belgian Malinois breed they are incredibly intelligent, strong, and athletic dogs. You often see the Belgian Malinois a part of the K9 Units or military for this very reason. Milo is a very anxious, nervous, and leash reactive dog who is also incredibly hard on his gear. He was busting out of plastic buckle collars, breaking d-rings off, and making his gear super dirty on adventures. The training tool that we found success with was a headcollar but we hated that none of his gear matched or was to the quality and durability standard we needed. We could not find gear that would work for him, so we decided to create our own.

canine endeavour was started purely because we wanted to create dog gear for the high drive breeds, pups that pull on leashes (no matter how much training you do), and endless adventures with your four-legged friend. We needed a collar that wouldn’t burst at the buckle when Milo got a bit too excited, a leash we could wash clean after a muddy adventure, a head collar to match his gear, and all of it at an affordable price point. All of our dog gear has been designed to meet the needs of our energetic and strong friends, tested by Milo himself.

We value transparency, quality, and customer service. After all, we started canine endeavour to help people in similar situations to ours. A portion of proceeds from every order will be donated to local animal shelters as we believe every dog needs to be given a chance.
