Harness Sizing Guide

How to Size a canine endeavour Harness

The canine endeavour Harness is completely customized to your dog’s size! Grab a fabric measuring tape and follow the instructions below to size your pup.

To size your dog for their new harness, you first need to find the tops of your dog’s shoulder blades (above and slightly behind your dog’s front legs). Once you find the shoulder blades, the following three measurements are required for us to make the harness:

  1. Chest: Measure from the top of the left shoulder blade, around the front of your dog’s chest, to the top of the right shoulder blade. Keep the measuring tape level (ensuring your hands are even on both sides) the entire time.
  2. Shoulders: Measure the space between your dog’s shoulder blades (top of their back). Start at the top of the left shoulder blade, bring the measuring tape over your dog’s back, and end at the top of the right shoulder blade.
  3. Girth: Measure the widest part of your dog’s torso by starting just behind the left shoulder blade, measuring completely around the torso, behind the right shoulder blade, and end where your first started the measurement.
